Our aim is simple – to provide FENSA-registered companies with comprehensive skills in both window installation and business management. Drawn from a wealth of industry expertise and our experiences in running the largest glazing competent person’s scheme, FENSA Training has been set up to offer real-world, practical know-how at heavily reduced prices to FENSA businesses.

The courses:

Our courses cover a wide variety of practical and relevant topics that are intended to assist small to medium companies in developing not only their technical skills but also their business know-how – from Surveying Skills to Pricing & Costing Systems, the courses address a number of specific areas that are of particular relevance to the glazing installer. Due to our unique position within the industry, we are also able to offer detailed educational courses in the Building Regulations.

All FENSA Training courses are held at recognised training centers and seminar rooms across the country, however should you desire a course to be run at your premises, this can be arranged by special appointment.

The people:

FENSA has been active for over 6 years now and our extensive range of registered businesses together with the regular communications we have with our companies means that we feel that we truly understand the training requirement’s of today’s glazing installer. We pride ourselves on being able to offer courses based on experience of all aspects of the glazing business and an empathy that both ourselves and our trainers have with the installer.

Our training courses have been specially designed by experts drawn from some of the most respected bodies within the glazing industry, including the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF) and the British Board of Agrement (BBA). The history:

Originally trading as Borough Training, the original providers of bespoke glazing training, Borough Training was incorporated with FENSA early in 2009 in order to form FENSA Training. Still continuing the original mission of Borough Training, providing low-cost, bespoke developed training to glazing installers, Borough Training has combined the resources of the largest competent person’s scheme for glazing installers with FENSA Training’s forward-thinking approach to provide low-cost, bespoke developed training to glazing installers.
