What can Borough Training do for me?
Borough Training is an independent provider of business-based training that is specifically tailored for the needs of the glazing industry. Our one-day courses will enable you to maximise your business potential, manage your company more effectively and ultimately ensure that your organisation becomes more profitable.
How much notice to I need to give to book one of your courses?
There is no minimum notice period for booking onto one of our 1-day courses, however space at each one is limited. In order to ensure that there is space available, please contact Borough Training either by phone or e-mail and we can confirm availability. It is possible to book last minute and indeed, you could turn up on the day in question and as long as there is space, sit down and start learning there and then.Yourself! All necessary materials (handouts, paper, writing materials e.t.c.) will be provided on the day of the course. You may find it useful to bring a folder in order to carry paperwork home with you but you shouldn’t need to bring anything other than that.
I’ve booked a course but something unexpected has cropped up – can I cancel?
Yes, provided we are given at least 7 working days notice. If you cancel more than 7 days before the course date, we will cancel your booking with a full refund. Cancellations after this period will be charged at the full rate.
What sort of follow-up is there?
Borough Training courses do not end once you have left the venue on the day of the course – we follow a comprehensive program of following up communications including e-mail feedback, a survey and subsequent follow-up contact to ascertain how you are putting the training received into practice. Ultimately, we want our training to help YOU succeed and the only way of ensuring this is to stay in touch.
There’s an area I’d like to be trained in that isn’t listed on your site – is it possible to arrange a one-to-one course?
At Borough Training we feel it is paramount to listen to the needs of our prospective clients and the industry in general. If there is a course you would like to see, please do not hesitate to contact us to let us know. We are constantly seeking feedback from our clients and glazing installers as to the kind of training THEY would like to receive and this is often reflected in the course content as the courses are developed.
Alternatively, it is possible to arrange for a one-to-one special arrangement with one of our trainers to discuss the areas in which you feel you could do with additional instruction. This is normally arranged on a bespoke, case-by-case basis and would need to be discussed in detail before any specific arrangements can be made. What official qualifications can I gain from Borough Training?
As it currently stands, Borough Training is not offering any certification-body recognised courses, however we are currently in the process of putting together a course that will enable our clients to obtain NVQ Level 2 qualifications in Fenestration.
