Building Regulations Course progresses into 2010
Our core course from FENSA Training aims to eliminate any remaining Building Regulations confusion.
In response to increasing demand from our registered businesses, FENSA Training has put the finishing touches to a half-day instructional course in understanding the Building Regulations. The Building Regulations are at the very core of FENSA – it is essential that every installation of replacement doors & windows within England and Wales complies. Nevertheless, we do appreciate that there are still aspects of the regulations that can cause confusion – not only the applicable regulations (namely L1 and N) but also the associated regulations which must also be taken into account when working.
Throughout close to 7 years of existence, FENSA has been at the heart of discussions with installers regarding the regulations. We understand that despite the best efforts of installers and regular updates/seminars from FENSA that some uncertainty remains about aspects of the regulations, particularly in certain situations where the route to compliance remains unclear.
That is why FENSA Training – in conjunction with experts from the BBA - have developed this course which aims once and for all to eliminate any remaining concerns that FENSA-registered businesses may have regarding the regulations. Over the course of half a day, candidates will be given a detailed explanation of how to comply with parts L1 and N in a variety of scenarios. The associated regulations will also be discussed in detail as these can form a vital component of compliance. Once these discussions have been concluded, there will then be an open forum for delegates to ask any questions that they may have. Ultimately, we do not want a single candidate leaving the room with any doubts relating to the regulations remaining.
